An Explanation of the Facts:
Futureappletree Studio Too is a recording studio where some of the
Daytrotter sessions happen as well as various projects
multi track analog and digital.
The engineers are Patrick Stolley, Ian Harris, and Andrew Barkau.
We believe in sounds and results.
Daytrotter recordings at Futureappletree are done to an Otari MTR10 1/4"
deck, live as they happen, effects and all. The preferred multitrack
is 1/2" 8 track or 1" 8 track. We have 2" 16 track up and
running. We also have 1" 24 track running and are working on a 2" 24
track. We run Protools 10 on a Mac Mini.
Harris (Rozz Tox/Daytrotter engineer) is more than willing to track,
and Patrick Stolley is willing to mix. We like analog, but can make
anything work. .wav files can be used to mix, or bring your
machine. Email for rates. We are right next to Rozz Tox
Cafe/Venue in Rock Island, and they have space available to
crash/cook/shower at really reasonable rates. Come and hang.
The studio is upstairs at Laborspace...a creative place full of musicians
and artisans (glass blowing, screenprinting, letterpress, woodworking,
painting, lighting restoration...etc). We are a couple blocks from
the Mississippi river, bike trails, parks, restaurants, bars, venues, a
botanical center, art galleries, etc. etc. It's common to see an
eagle flying over the building. We own a grassy wooded lot next door
where chilling and camping is welcome.
